Great game all around. Pastrnak being kept off the score board and our depth still showing up greatly is awesome to see. I love Pat Maroon!
It's easy to say rotate the goalies before the playoffs start, but after a performance like that, it's tough to put Ullmark in for game 2. Hopefully whatever they have planned works.

Let’s see, better goaltending, better defense, more physical and harder workers. I like our chances. Toronto can’t play the type of game Boston’s going to force them to play for 7 games. They’re used to figure skating around all game. Not gonna work in the playoffs against Boston. Go Bruins!!!!

That was how you set the tone early. The hitting, the forechecking. Not letting any of the bs go. Maroon showed WHY he's here folks. This was a great team playoffs win. The powerplay looked like an actual powerplay. Everyone was ready from puck drop. Sway was dialed in. I cannot state this enough. THAT is how you start a series. You must continue to play this way. Foot on gas. No letting up. Playoff Jake shows you why he's still here. Beecher was excellent. Keep it rolling. That's 1. 15 more to go. No excuses. Win.

All 5 Bruins goals scored by Sweeney draft picks...6 out of the 9 assists by Bruins draft picks....Oh and the goalie was a Sweeney draft pick as well. 17 of the 20 players tonight are Sweeney made, and he did extend Pasta, Marchand and Gryz.
