Hell baby
I want Washington at some point. I want the Bruins to be the team that humiliates them this year. I was Blidh up and making holtbys life hell.

**** it I want Blidh up now to make andersons life hell. He's been good against us- make him as uncomfortable as possible. I'm not advocating blatantly running him...just get in his bubble. Maybe get "knocked" into him a few times if a defenseman tries to clear space in front

I love the series dynamic. Now we get to watch chess with physical consequences

Bitter sweet. I'm glad we got Ottawa but bummed about our situation on defense. I'm still hopeful Carlo will be able to play, but I don't think Krug will. If he's still walking around in a brace his play will probably be significantly diminished if he does end up coming back this season. I hope I'm wrong but I'd definitely call up Mcavoy.

With Krug, would be very confident the Bruins could pull this off. Without him, they're going to need one gutsy effort, and Rask is going to have to stand on his head. Lucky for us, Rask just looks to be getting into form.

But this will be one boring series no question. They play a pre-lockout NJ trap.

If Bruins can limit Sens shots from the points or block lots they have a good, chance to win the series.Seems like every Ottawa goal comes from a point shot.

Last time there was a Bruins game scheduled in Boston on Marathon Monday was the day of the bombing. The opponent? Ottawa.

Freaky.

Any update on injuries to Ottawa players?

Everyone should be good to go for game 1. Not completely sure on Methot, but it sounds like he should be good to go.

Good luck in the series! I've always liked the Bruins, although I imagine I will like you guys less after the series. Either way, let's hope we see an entertaining series with no injuries on either side.

It should be THANK YOU BOSTON!!! Or we have to thank every other team that took a point from Leafs since game one..

Bruins last 3 seasons finished with 95, 93 and 96 points. It's actually been a long time since we had a bad team. A little bad luck we never made playoffs last 3 seasons but we're in this year.

Damn shame how Bruins were relatively healthy all season and then lose 2 of your top 3 defencemen last 2 games. Pretty darn tough to take. But Bruins have been getting excellent goaltending lately so I guess you just never know. It's certainly not an upset if we beat Sens in the series. But Anderson has been brutal all his career vs Bruins. Hoping at least Carlo can play and maybe Krug game 3..

Krug out hurts our offence, not so much our defence. Losing Carlo hurts our defence and not so much our offence. Looking at it that way, if everyone can pull their weight just a tad more, hopefully it can make up for some of the loss of our 2 boys..

I'm not even going to try and be classy about it. It's the playoffs.

****** the Sens

and ****** Guy Boucher's terrible brand of hockey

Let's go Bruins, I hope the Black and Gold Express completely runs over the "pesky" Sens.

Hmm with how Easter schedules and the desire to play Saturday night with CDN viewers, we may get several 2 day breaks. Again give me as much time as possible for Krug/Carlo...

Crucial for the D to heal up early in the series. Also crucial for the stars to heat up and score. Need Pasta to get out of his funk in a bad way. A hot Rask could be the difference maker if the D does not heal up in time. It sure is nice to have some Bruins playoff hockey.

Wow game 2 being Saturday is huge for us. Lots of time for Carlo then.

Yep. If we can go 1-1, comes back to Boston for a 5 game series, 3/5 games in Boston. Game 3 Monday, 8 days away... If they're good to go by then it'd be huge. Obviously we haven't heard anything besides "they're day-to-day" yet, and I don't want to get too far ahead, but hopefully.

We need Pasta and Marshy to light it up. Their speed and creativity will be what collapses the 1-3-1. Need Backes and Beleskey to hit everything that moves. Need Bergy, Krejci, and Chara to be in the God mode they're capable of, and Rask needs to outduel Anderson.

Disagree. Getting the puck out of the zone and into transition is very important to defense.

Agree

Karlsson has to be less than 100%
