Syracuse boast the best offence in the league with a rate of 3.25 Goals per game rating although they were hit by the loss of 7 players to the NHL after the lockout in Conacher, Killorn, Panik, Palat, Gudas, Johnson and Barberio. The Crunch have seven players who skated for and won the cup with the Admirals last year and the experience could be vital. The Pirates were 27th in goals allowed at 3.07 and allowed 16 shorties. Both teams compiled impressive streaks throughout the season with the Crunch going 9 games unbeaten on the road and the Pirates going eight unbeaten at home.
