Wonder if one reason Julien mixed up his lines was to avoid putting his best players on the first line, only to see Couts shut them down. By balancing his lines, he made Cout's shutdown ability less valuable. I presume the acting HC will do the same.

Kirk Muller isn't the brightest bulb, so the coaching advantage should sway towards the Flyers.

Julien v AV was a good match. I expect AV to have the upper hand now.

I said it in the main board thread, I expect a 4-1,5-1 type win. Will be closer than the scoreboard looks, but we got our first taste of real playoff hockey, we will adjust and make them look silly.
I hope so. I am also expecting a better adjustment to their style as the series goes on but not so immediate. AV is a good coach though and I think he already figured out what to do. Hopefully players can execute!

I don't know. Habs have extra motivation. And even in the regular season we have a problems with them always. Two wins in overtime only and one deserved loss.

I believe that for example Capitals or Canes would be better matchup for us. But yeah, I still expect and want to beat 'em of course and go to second round. Just don't expect a big wins in next games but tight series.

LET'S GO FLYEEEEERS!

If this was a 5 game series, I would be a little worried. But they have to beat us 4 times. I think that’s a tall order for Montreal. I’m not saying we are some juggernaut and can’t be beat, but Montreal beating us 4 times in 7 games is tough. Now 4 times in 6 games.

Yeah, very good answer.

I believe too that we will beat 'em in the series. My point was that I dont expect high wins. I wouldn't be surprised if our two, or maybe all three wins will be only by 1 or 2 goals like first game. Tight games.

Ya I wouldn’t be surprised either. I mean they do have Carey Price in net, and hes on his game right now.
