Honestly I just go out there and I try to just make a difference.
When I feel like the team needs some support offensively or I feel I need to step up, I just try to do it. I don't really put any pressure on myself.
The disappointment from losing last year I think really hit me from losing the last game at home and facing elimination tonight. We're not far away to be in the Final again.
I just play.

Brassard had an impressive night and it seemed like he was possessed right from the start of the game.
You could tell he was around the puck. He was forechecking and he was finding himself open a lot off the backdoor. He’s working for his opportunities.
Since he’s come to New York, he’s really turned into a premier center.
- Rick Nash
It’s the best. It’s really the best feeling. Even though it’s a lot of adrenaline and pressure and you’re nervous going into these Game 7s, you have to enjoy it.
Everything on the line again, playing in front of your fans, and I always say there is no better feeling than to win a big game at home, but they’ve been playing well in our building.
We have to go home now, regroup, and focus on a big task.

We’re going to focus on the elements that we need to do on the ice to have a good game. We’re going to narrow our players’ focus to exactly that.
