Where is Marchand?

And this is not factoring the player(s) added to this lineup if it’s not Bergy and/or Krejci.

That’s a non contender.

Unless we’re talking contending for a top 10 draft pick…assuming they still have it.

Story changes a bit with marchy back obviously but still not winning any titles with that pile of…players.

Marchand is injured, please tell me the two great centers they will be adding for 4 million cap space combined? Not many free agent options left.

I get Sweeney will shock us all and be competent....no, no he won't

No doubt the Best possible outcome outside multiple moves/trades/signings and until further notice still in play, is to sign Bergeron and Krejci.

And I know Marchand is injured. But he’ll also be added to the group you listed and making fun of as if it was the team this year.

Hall-Krejci-Pasta
Marchand-Bergy-DeBrusk
Zacha-Coyle-Smith

I like this. A lot.

Do it Don

Bruins have 18 forwards by my count that require waivers if 37 and 46 return. 16 if they don't.

Any forward (or D-man for that matter) who can be demoted without hitting the waiver wire will be hard pressed to make this team out of camp. They'll basically have to kick the door down figuratively speaking and force management's hand.

Letteri, Koppanen and Wagner are probably easier decisions but that still leaves 15 guys including 46 and 37. Assuming they carry 8 D when healthy, even one of 46/37 returning means a tough decision on another forward.

The Studnicka contract extension will be interesting. Does he get the same one-way deal as Steen got. Or is he given the Senyshyn treatment with a one-year two-way? When and what he gets should give a good indication as to whether they think he'll be on the team this year or not.

Under the 37 and 46 return scenario, love this:
- Zacha is a nice upgrade over foligno. Duh. Anyone/anything would be.
- zacha 2 way skill set : really? Been hearing he’s lazy as f**k at times. Maybe he should earn that accolade in a Bs sweater before making that assessment.

Another takeaway…in the worst case scenario, Studnika still not a cracking 1c, 2c, 3c or 4c. That’s quite a statement on the quality of that pick.

At least we will be following the draft rankings closely for next year.

Do you think there is someone who is going to say that is a good team? Obviously if they don't have Bergeron and krejci they are in a full on rebuild, and will be outside the playoffs

Bergeron called Zacha to welcome him. Nice optical illusion too putting pasta on the second line to make it look worse. Haha

I'm not convinced at this point Marchand won't be ready to start the season with the mid-October start date.

Even if he's not ready, if 46 and 37 return doesn't look to be enough room at the inn.

I don't think the Lysells and Beecher's of the world stand much of chance of making this roster.
