Just once, I want the PR guy to replace "per club policy, the terms of the deal were not disclosed" with "he's gettin' Anderson Silva money!"

Leading defensive scorer for the Oil Kings -- glad to see another kid doing enough to impress the hockey operations department and get a deal. Given the dearth of young defensemen in Springfield, there should be plenty of opportunity in the AHL for Mayo next season.

2014 draft is looking pretty darn good:
Perlini - doing well in OHL Niagara, playing at WJC
MacInnis - destroying OHL Kitchener, playing at WJC
Dvorak - destroying OHL London, playing at WJC
Karlsson - still in Sweden, playing at WJC
Bunting - signed, not doing much for ECHL Rapid City
Mayo - signed, putting up points in WHL
Westlund - still in Sweden
Fiegl - struggling at NCAA Cornell
Kulda - walked, back in KHL Dinamo Riga

Bunting is in the AHL now, only went down to the ECHL for a couple of games, prob a roster situation. He's not doing much, but that team is a disaster so I'm not sure how many conclusions we can draw.

We could include letunov there too probably, we didn't draft him but we wanted him ahead of dvo.

Letunov is the leading scorer on the UConn team by a pretty wide margin
