Holloway’s first giveaway was a bit of a tough situation. Having already been clobbered in the NHL in his young career. He’s given the puck to transition it through the neutral zone, see’s two devils directly in front of him and another comes at him from the side. A literal wall of Devils and he’s left with no options and no experience to handle a situation like that in this League.

There will be growing pains for him for sure. Mcleod had them too. And ultimately Holloway’s ceiling has a good chance to be higher than mcleod’s.
100%.

He's a very confident puck carrier and that needs to be encouraged because there's a good chance that he develops into a controlled entry machine.

These hiccups need to be addressed and he could definitely use a little better situational awareness, but like you stated, they're mistakes that younger players frequently make.

Even Yamamoto had a fairly egregious turnover behind our net on the PK holding onto the puck too long in the 1st.

Holloway really having some stinging rookie mistakes, with one big one nearly every game costing us a goal. And also struggling around the net. I expect he'll slowly get better and turn the corner. Until then, some of the other guys need to ramp it up.

He needs more AHL time honestly.
