Lets move on from King. He was a depth move at trade deadline and is likely gone. He is really very very minor in the grand scheme of things. Can't believe some are still talking about him.

Looking back Drew Stafford would have been a much better player to take on. Vanek would have been ideal because while you can argue Vanek was soft and didn't try hard. It's not like King was committed or that physical in his time here.

Not enough speed to keep up in the NHL. A western conference team will probably offer him a contract this summer based on his time with LA though.
