Awful news. Here's hoping for a complete and speedy recovery for Keith and that the Hawks weather his absence decently well.

Gimme Rundblad or give me death

Seeing responses of it talked on twitter.. I was in a moment of honestly forgetting that he is an option of someone who could play games still. Dang, I guess that will have to be a thing.

If he needs more than 4-6 weeks to get back to 100%, give it to him. This team stands little chance in the playoffs without him being at his best. Probably time to give Hedja and Vish a call (don't think they signed anywhere). LTIR Keith.

It had to happen sooner or later. I wonder if Cumiskey will get the nod? That would be my call.... or does Q move Daley up and bring in Bladder?

Did he look hobbled at all to anyone on Saturday? I didn't notice anything while at the UC. Preemptive fix of a nagging issue or late game/post game injury?

On the glass half full side, opportunity for Seabrook and Hammer to step up. Plus opportunity to save some cap by using LTIR?

At least it happened early. Hawks can get a look at a few other guys. We'll definitely see Cumisky in there.

Cumiskey or Rozsival will need to step up into a bottom pairing role, defense as a whole will have to take a step forward, and offense will have to start clicking consistently across more than just the second line.

Not inherently disastrous, but has the potential to be very bad if we let too many points slip though our fingers in the coming weeks.

HUGE loss. Get well soon #2. Everyone will have to step up in a big way. At least it is early and it's only weeks and not months.
