According to Rick Dhaliwal of Sportsnet 650; Anthony Duclair has been getting good calls from GM's. But went on to say that it was his agent that actually reached out to Vancouver. No indication on whether there is mutual interest but I find it interesting that they reached out. I'm all for giving this kid a chance.

At this point I see Duclair and a little more hyped up Vatrano. I’d love to see him get some consistency. He can deff be a player who moves up and down your top 9.

I don't think he'll ever be the goal scorer he thinks he'll be. He should position his game differently, maybe a 3rd or a 4th line specialist.
He has good speed, that can be used properly as a PK specialist or something

Stay away from this headcase !

A dressing room of Toews Keith Quenville couldnt motivate him and hold him accountable, he will just bring down the youth in Van especially with a leadership void left by the Sedins.

Too many red flags !

His reputation in the NHL is a selfish.player who is unmotivated. He sees hockey as a job not a passion. He clocks in and.clocks out, does nothing to imporve himself.

His skills have always gotten him far when he was younger. He never had to work for it and it shows with a very very poor work ethic

He was far from headcase in Chicago

Just underwhelming player who then got hurt

Hawks saw nothing from him that warranted more of a look

If he'd sign it, I'd give him a prove it contract with the pens in the 1m range. If he can't hack it we can always bury him in the minors and clear most of the cap hit. Cap is much more important to the Pens than real dollars.

I'm easily interested in this as a Vancouver fan.

Young guy that has scored 20 goals and has a lot of talent.

Obviously for Duclair, he'll be looking to prove himself as well as he's bounced around on different teams a few times now.

A young guy with solid upside. Yeah.......I'm definitely interested.

Where are we planning to put him.If you look thru our roster. There is not alot of room.We need to be making trades first...

There weren't any reports, or even inklings of attitude problems in Chicago.

He showed up, played hard, and then got injured. I'd have liked to have him back, personally, but a QO would have been 1.5mil, and there are probably guys in the system that can put up similar production at lower money.... even if they don't have the raw tools that Duclaire has.

I hope he succeeds somewhere. He's fun to watch when he's feeling it.

I’d either try and move Baertschi for a young 3rd pairing D man that has a reasonable shot of becoming a 2nd pairing dman, OR, just take Granlund out of the line-up.

Left wing depth chart
Baertschi
Duclair
Leipsic
Goldobin
Granlund

Dahlen plays the year in Utica.
