Don't really care. We all know whose side the NHL is on.

And seriously the Ducks looked like **** for 40 minutes. They try that in the playoffs and they'll be golfing a week after we are. Look like first round exits again.

2.5 seconds left on the clock and Eakins throws out RNH to take the draw.. not Gordon, or even Hendricks. Really?

That last goal was ********. How the hell did they miss that obvious hook on Hall from Getzlaf? Perry was constantly allowed to crash Fasth without any call. Pfft.

deserved a better fate....played a really good game despite injuries and second game of a back to back

but they're losers and know how to clutch up and blow it when it counts

- Anaheim is allowed to slash the goalie after the whistle without being penalized
- Cogliano can grab Hall and prevent him from joining the rush
- Getzlaf can hook Hall at the blue line

That's some solid officiating, specifically in the third period.

Proud of the boys on this road trip and haven't been able to say that much this year.

Don't know why you guys are so down on the team, this is the best they've played in a long time, the refs obviously are favoring the more veteran team here.

They've more than hung with two of the better, bigger teams in the league on a back to back, both of these games could've gone either way.

I would rather lose like this than win while getting outshot 40-20 or something ... that doesn't teach the team anything.

What we learned:

- Anaheim is allowed to slash the goalie after the whistle without being penalized
- Cogliano can grab Hall and prevent him from joining the rush
- Getzlaf can hook Hall at the blue line

That's some solid officiating.

Can also add:

Good teams only need to play 10 minutes of solid hockey to beat the Oilers.

The Ducks are in trouble.

The had to get the refs to give them the game.

Still, like last night I'm very happy with the game, effort was good, the kids were good, and were still ahead of Florida.

In the end, we were given two grade A effort games back to back against two powerful and ref-aided Californian teams, and we lost both of them without getting a single point.

That's perfect.

I'm glad to see them at least play well for once in game 2 of a back-to-back.

With that said though, that was total bull ****. I wish we could take liberties like that and get away with it.

They play like that against teams with actual defense (I.E. Not the Jets or the Oilers) they're screwed. This is shaping up to be another disappointing season in Anaheim.
