Bean is still pretty slim at the moment & isn't polished in his game essentially the opposite of what Provorov was last year. I think he's a great gamble as the first round goes on but in the top 10 you can find better prospects with more polish to their game.

I said it before I seriously doubt the Flyers select Sokolov too. Someone else might pick him in the second round but the Flyers typically don't put in time for kids who don't want to put in the time themselves which has been the question mark around Sokolov for a while now.

No hes not. 17 goals in 47 games as a defenseman. One of the best 16 year old seasons offensively in WHL history. Doesn't turn 18 until the summer. Needs to improve his skating, but all signs point to him being a bit of a late bloomer.

Bean might not even go 1st round, let alone 8th. Then you factor in the fact that we need forwards. What site was this so I can avoid it forever?

I personally don't see it really. Too good an offensive skill-set and too good a skater... he will be hard to pass up in the 25-30 range if he gets there.

Draft-site are pretty poor overall... their projections are always massively off.

I have a hard time seeing Bean as below the ~6th best Dman in this draft. Chychrun, Juolevi, Sergaychov, Fabbro and McAvoy are the only guys who you can really make a great case as all being better. And 4/5 will be off the board at 20 for sure...

He'll probably go in the late 1st but that's erroneous. He definitely wont go top 10 and he especially wont be drafted by the Flyers.
