Rees at 38 is very good.selects forward Matvei Guskov from the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League.
1 - (8) RW - Vasili Podkolzin - St.Petersburg - MHL
2 - (38) C - Jamieson Rees - Sarnia Sting - OHL
3 - (88) RW - Graeme Clarke - Ottawa 67’s - OHL
4 - (100) F - Matvei Guskov - London Knights - OHL
I went a little heavy from the OHL, I did have one player left on my board ahead of Guskov, but a left handed defensive defender was not on my want list for the Oilers. Happy overall with the draft, surprised by many picks, none as much as Tomasino going in the second round, but every year at the actual draft something surprises me just like this, so I wouldn’t say it was shocking.Rees at 38 is very good.
You got it bro.Can we auto the next person so I can pick?
Easter weekend is on, not unexpected4th round is turning out to be a slog.

Many thanks to @lanky for running this! Hope to be part of the next one.
GM has been PMed
LD is Montreal’s biggest need right now. Needed to shore up and hope one hits. What was the plan with going with 3 straight left dmen? I like some of the guys you selected but wonder why 3 out of 5 picks went LD. But then I do not know Montreal's depth.
