As someone who has frequented hfboards for a hell of a long time as a reader, im surprised at how much variation in opinion there is in things like BPA, ranking of the top 5 (even to 10), and the general strength of the draft from poster to poster. Im just looking to get an idea of how people view the draft in a way that wont degenerate to certain fanbases trashing it and others pimping it to death. Try to leave your biases at the door if you can, and just give your honest unbiased opinion of the following questions

Which team(s) are you a fan of?
Oilers

BPA regardless of need?
RNH - I dont get to see draft eligible players, so my opinion is based on what several draft agencies have released.

Top 5 (or 10 if you wish) regardless of need and ceiling/floor for them?
RNH- Franchise center/ bust
Larsson- 1st pairing D/ 2nd pairing D
Landeskog- 1st line F/ 3rd liner
Hurbedeau- 1st line F/ bust
Couturier- Strong 2nd line C/ 3rd liner

General strength of draft?
Average

Have you actually seen the prospects play to some degree?
No

Huberdeau is a boom or bust player? Weird. He's at worst a checking line centre/wing.

Which team(s) are you a fan of?
Devils

BPA regardless of need?
Larsson - RNH is up there too, but I really like Larsson

Top 5 (or 10 if you wish) regardless of need and ceiling/floor for them?
RNH- first liner/top 9 forward
Larsson- top 2 d/top 4 d
Landeskog- first liner/top 9 forward
Hurbedeau- first liner/top 9 forward
Couturier- first liner/top 9 forward

General strength of draft?
Average

I've seen them all play, but Huberdeau more than others.

Which team(s) are you a fan of?
Ottawa

BPA regardless of need?
RNH - I've only seen him when they aired some of the Mem.Cup, but from all accounts, he has the most upside offensively of any of the players.

Top 5 (or 10 if you wish) regardless of need and ceiling/floor for them?
RNH- Franchise center/ 2nd line C
Larsson- 1st pairing D/ 2nd pairing D - I almost ranked him first, high hockey IQ, strudy frame, can bring offense - big time D-man
Hurbedeau- 1st line F/2nd LW - watched him as much as possible in the playoffs, like his game and love his skill set + drive to win
Landeskog- 1st line F/ 3rd liner - I think he'll top out as a 2nd line winger with a ton of grit and a ton of drive, but what may stop him from being a permanent top line W is his offensive upside isn't as high as others
Couturier- Strong 2nd line C/ 3rd liner - I doubt he'll be a 3rd liner, I think he's a great 2nd line C or top line C depending on how the next few years go
Murphy - top pairing offensive D-man/bust - boom or bust, but this kid has skills to kill it at any level. not the greatest defensively though
