draft available players

probably not my favourite draft in years; however, I could be wrong as hell. based on what was available at our picks, would you've gone in the same direction or selected another player.

I'm too ill currently to make my list, but my first 3 picks are different. the only pick I am 'okay' about is our 55th pick.


i'll update mine when im not so emotional about not getting erne....petan....or zykov.

I'd be concerned by the fact that Patrick Roy and the Avs didn't take the falling Erne. Petan, we'll see. Interesting case, but he may not pan out because of his size. As for Zykov, I wonder what his real upside is.

As for our pick, if Mccarron develop his offensive game enough, he'll be a beast. His size at his age is incredible. De La Rose isn't a sexy pick, but he's gonna be an asset down the road. Fucale has star potential...

All in all, it's not a sexy draft like last year... It's back to normal. But when people bash Timmins for his pick, many of those picks pan out in the end.
