For defencemen, I'd submit Giordano for consideration. Not because he's some superstar offensive d-man, but because he actually seems to have some kind of knack for running the comeback. Whether it be making the right play to set up the offensive possession, or randomly firing a pinball goal through traffic out of sheer desperation, I think it's no coincidence that he's captained two teams now who have been known for third-period comebacks.
