Go read the Let Miller walk thread, there are more than a few that say, we made the deal, and now we will look really terrible if we don't get Miller signed. That sounds like worrying about saving face to me, but maybe I'm wrong.

I don't think it's we thing, because we don't have a say, but is it possible the Armstrong might try to sign Miller because his ego, well that is a possibility.

But I'm not sure if it's the wrong decision, only time will tell.

Blues need a difference maker #1 Center like a Spezza or Eric Staal to go between Tarasenko and Schwartz. As much as I like Oshie, Backes and Steen they are not 1st line players. If it's the status quo on forwards next season with Jaskin and Rattie added, Blues will fail once again in the Playoffs at this time next year and windows to win Cups does not stay open long. So if you have to rob Peter to pay Paul by for starters Shatty as part of a package to get a Spezza or my choice, Eric Staal, you do it.
