Don't know anything about Kahun, but it makes little difference honestly. Getting rid of Sheary and ERod is good enough.
Pens fans are upset about losing Kahun. I guess that’s a win for me.

Kahun for two guys that were on the way out at the end of the season is a nice get.

LW. He's a gamer. Glad he's a Sabre, especially at the price we paid. This was a great trade by Botts. We got a legit top-9 forward with top-6 upside.

Loving this trade. Kahun came into the league as a center but has mainly played wing. But essentially he has put up a .5 ppg playing minimal minutes... a real real nice p/60. Not the 2C trade we were hoping for but Kahun is going to be a top 9 forward for us for a few years. Hell of a trade. I want him to get some time with Jack.

Other than the positional fit ambiguity, he's a player with some reasonable past production, upside, and is under team control.
Not the impact player the team could use but a solid asset transformation from Sheary/Erod.

He can supposedly play all forward positions. So, maybe in the sense of Johansson playing "center"? Hopefully with better dzone coverage... We turned nothing into a player that might be something. I take it as a win.

Has a fair amount of skill and playmaking ability for the highest level. Can play all three forward positions, which also adds to his overall value to a team. Is fairly responsible, too. Lacks size and strength, so he needs to prove himself in North American professional ice surfaces (which are narrower than those in Europe). Needs to shoot the puck more.
