He's the most talented comedian of the last 30 years IMO, that I have not seen in 20 years. I just don't like the stuff he's been doing the last couple of decades. He was even funny in Seinfileds stupid car show just being himself.

He seemed very apprehensive about doing stand up. Stated it's impossible to practice these days as everything ends up on-line. Also mentioned he has no material.

I'm definitely in for this one, but I gotta say the trailer isn't as funny as I thought it would be. I love Eddie Murphy and had a few of Rudy Ray Moore's albums too, but this looks like it could be one of those generic music biopics. Why would they take Dolemite and Eddie and make it more dramedy than comedy? Hopefully it is just a bad trailer.
