Agreed well done D.O.I.

Top Offensive created player has to be Pollari.. made the World League All Star team as a rookie! Kopitar's season is insane considering his teammates along with the competition Slovenia is facing.

I agree that this is beyond awesome DOI.

Pollari is a beast, although I have to say I was disappointed when he was not nominated for the best defensive created player

Canada vs. Sweden

Donald S. Cherry Cup Preview

Offense: The 92-rated Canadians have been flying high all season, as they led the WL in goals per game, PP goals, and SH goals. They are no doubt the favoured offense here, however the 87-rated Swedes can make some noise as well. They finished third in scoring.
Matchup: Canada (92) vs. Sweden (87)

Defense: Led by Conn Smythe-favorite Brent Seabrook, the Canadian D core is very VERY solid. However, the Swedes are led by Erik Karlsson, who is one of the highest-rated defenseman in the league.
Matchup: Canada (89) vs. Sweden (86)

Goaltending: This one is a no-brainer. King Henrik vs. Carey Price/Roberto Luongo. King Henrik has ruled supreme all season, coming #2 in all stats only to Slovak wonder-kid Jaroslav Janus. Lundqvist is quick, agile, and excellent down low.
Matchup: Canada (85) vs. Sweden (93)

OVERALL THOUGHTS:

Going to be an entertaining series, and it should go at least five maybe more if King Henrik can keep the Swedes alive. He will definitely be tested, however one wonders if the untested Canadian tenders will be able to hold up under more intense pressure...

Predictions? (I'll say Canada in 6)

Just curious how do you select the rosters?

Noticed Dustin Penner made team Canada and John Gibson appears to be the Americans goalie. Are there any NHL players on any of the smaller nations? For instance Italy, Great Britain, Norway, France.. did you add any NHL players to teams like these?

There are no NHL players on the little fish..only really what the IIHF rosters from the last World Championships had for them.

i.e. Austria has Vanek and nothing else. France has Da Costa and not much else.

I also played with players' ratings as well, because I feel some of the ratings are way way off.

The team rosters are altered slightly.

Gibson's been the goalie because Miller has been out since December.

Really REALLY frustrated because my younger brother saved over this save slot. Sorry to all who participated, but I will be creating a new one fairly soon with NHL teams!
