Coming into this season Montreal have not had an 80 point player in 15 years, and only 1 in the last 26 years.

Nick Suzuki has 2 points so far tonight for 71.

He will have 8 games left after tonight.

Does he do it?

He needs 9 points in 8 games which is totally doable for him. I think he will finish with 77-79 points and just miss 80 points.

Yes.

The Habs are playing for nothing beyond character and pride. They can afford to prioritize the Suzuki milestone.

If all 3 of his line and Matheson stay healthy I could see it. He's been well over that pace since the all star break

he has a realistic chance, but I think he'll end up just shy. Then again, the habs might really pour it on to get him there, win or lose, so I could see it happening. He's bound to get assists so if any other habs players get hot or the powerplay scores, he's going to pick up points.

Wow! Shocking the Habs haven’t even had an 80 point guy in 15 years. Would have been unthinkable for those of us who followed them for decades. Kind of sad tbh.

Beautiful B.C.
How the hell did Domi have the most points as a hab since Koivu?

His agent must have been pissed he did it the year AFTER he signed his extension with Montreal though , bullet dodged!

It's definitely doable (8 points in 7 games), but I think he'll finish with 79 points, just because. I hope he gets to 80 though. Would be nice to see!
