Does Jay McClement replace Clarke MacArthur as a permanent Alternate Captain?

With Clarke MacArthur now officially a member of the Ottawa Senators does this mean that next season Jay McClement will replace him as one of the Leafs Alternate Captains? Logic says it should because this past season when MacArthur didn't play because of injury or was a healthy scratch it was McClement who was wearing one of the other "A" after Lupul.

Probably, unless they give it to Clarkson, which they may since he's now part of the core.

I'd say he's probably the best candidate for it. The only other guys I'd consider for it are Bozak or Liles (if he's not traded), but McClement seems like a better fit.

I could see them giving an A to Clarkson and while I don't put as much stock into letters on the jersey as others do, I think the A on McClement is a nice acknowledgement of the kind of work McClement does for the team.
