Does Henrik reach #50 in all-time NHL assists this season

See thread title (talking about regular season specifically).

He is currently 56th with 692. Scott Stevens (!) is 50th at 712. Henrik would need 21 assists in 27 games to pass him (that is 0.78 APG). For this season, he has been at 0.72 APG.

I know some people like to diminish assists relative to goals, but given how amazing Henrik is as a passer, it makes me very happy to see him climbing up the all-time ranks.

In a related question, where do you think he could end up all-time? I think he has an outside shot at Top 25 all-time (#25 = Bobby Clarke with 852). Henrik would need 161 more in his career to top that (i.e. 3 more seasons with 45+ assists after this one probably).

I sure hope so. The more assists he pots this season, the higher our chance at the playoffs/home ice advantage.

He seems to fallen off the pace of hitting 1000 pts this season (altho he could still hit it over the final 21).. so this would be a nice feather in the cap.

I would have given him, say, 20% odds. A long shot, but at least something he could shoot for. Now, he has 0% chance.

two more years at this year's pace of what, 60 + the remaining 17. 810 + 120. 930

yeah actually if they stuck around for another 2-3 years it would have been possible
