Does anyone have a list of former NHLers now playing in the KHL?

I wonder if more players with NHL experience are in the KHL currently or more players with KHL experience in the NHL. Anyone has an idea?

Am I missing something? Of course there are more former NHL'ers in the K, than vice versa. That's like, erm, obvious.

I'll make a list.

If not for a lockout, the former KHL'er list would contain like 5-10 players? What's the point of that list? There are several teams in KHL which have more than that former NHL'ers on their own on their roster.

I guess I'll add information about games and reason for league change (lockout, longterm contract etc.). Off course there are also league hoppers like Jagr and Radulov. :D And I can find out the overall number of players who played in both leagues.

Kyle Wellwood
Jaromir Jagr
Denis Grebeshkov
Vladimir Tarasenko
Sergei Bobrovsky
Nikita Nikitin
Dmitry Orlov
Evgeni Nabokov
Alexei Emelin
Anton Belov
Valeri Nichushkin
Jiri Hudler

Feel free to add, this is what I can somehow compile and remember (not including Lockout). Some have not yet stepped on NHL ice but then again NHL guys now in KHL haven't too... and I think Nichushkin and Belov will get their opportunity at least in 1 or two games.

Of course if we counted Lockout and pre-KHL Russian championships then the numbers would be higher. But there are still probably few missing from my list.

I don't really care, but I see that my estimation was fairly accurate.

Mark Giordano (1 yr prior KHL - DM)Russia revived career, now one of Calgary's best D
Mark Flood
Mats Zuccarello
Nick Tarnasky -Signed 2 way deal with Montreal after career yr in AHL last season after 1yr in the K
Andrei Benoit -Bounced back in NHL last season after revival in Spartak Mosc. Now has contract with Colorado.
Linus Omark -...Allegedly edit - confirmed
Mike Murphy-Back on 2way deal with Carolina, has been terrible everywhere he has been. Must have a good agent.
Ray Emery

Kucherov, Korobov, Nesterov all under contract with TB, will be a good chance of at least 2 of those guys getting a call up this year

There's more I'll dig them up later

Here's another name to be added... http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=9561
He was the best player on Chicago's team back in the day. I was actually a blackhawks fan back in the days when they sucked so bad. Dark days for those fans back then....

...and even darker nowadays considering that almost every fan in Chicago is a bandwagoner who knew absolutely nothing about hockey just a few years ago. *mrgity*

At the first sight, it doesnt look that a quality corelates with number of NHL experienced players

Komarov has played the whole 12/13 season so I think he should count as well

And he was offered 1 way from leafs but chose KHL at this point.. Probably sure chance to play in olymics, bigger role weighting in decision. Should easily count.. And probably will be seen in the NHL later by he's own words.
