Season One on Netflix, Season Two just started on Netflix and Season Three on the way. Hosted by Helen Mirren.

This show might verge on the Dennis Miller Ratio of the comedy scale, but I was on the floor over the Vice and Thin Blue Line Send ups.

I see commercials all the time for it on IFC.
Is it set in a storyline for a season or is each episode a different storyline?

This show is the definition of narrowcasting - certainly for love and not for money.

I adored season 1. Highly recommend for fans of the documentary form. Most definitely playing for a narrow niche but if you're in that niche, it is great.

Nobody likes Fred Armisen. He's a ****** actor, a ****** comedian and a ****** musician. On top of that, by accounts, he's a pretty ****** person, too.

I thought this seemed like an interesting idea and I watched one with the wife on the Al Capone festival in Sweeden or somewhere like that. I thought it was pretty stupid.

That was my least favorite of the first season, possibly because I haven't seen the source material, but more likely because no Hader.

I like Fred Armisen. Is that ok?

Binged Season 2 on Netflix

Kind of surprised I liked the Arminsencentric episodes Juan Likes Rice and Chicken and Globesmen.

Robert Evans was a meatball pitch for Hader, but he put it in the upper deck.

"And I mean that figuratively!"

Not big on the Grey Gardens, Vice, and Al Capone lookalike spoofs. The rest are really amazing and some had me looking for the source to watch. The Thin Blue Line and the stream of consciousness one were my favorites.
