Kelowna filmmaker reflects on one-of-a-kind North Korea hockey documentary - Victoria News
A gentleman from the town I live in has made a documentary film about North Korea's hockey team and their participation in an IIHF tournament in New Zealand. Titled Closing the Gap: Hockey in North Korea, the film took four years to create, and the filmmaker had to make three separate trips to the reclusive country of North Korea to create this film. It debuted yesterday at the Whistler Film Festival.
Has anyone had a chance to see this documentary, and if so what thoughts do you have about it? It sounds like a rather interesting project to me.
