I’m sure we thought he would be a cheap fourth line option this year but Hextall took free agent advice from Sully. I can’t wait to see what turds will block him next season.

Were it not for the freak injury (punctured lung) and Covid, my bet is he would have already established himself on this team full time by now, and we'd be looking at a 2 year extension for more money -- which I personally would have preferred because we REALLY need to sign Blueger to an extension this summer, which would be at least $3 - 3.5M.

I'm expecting DOC to have a breakout season next year.

He's certainly earned the one-way deal, though.
