I don't think there are any NHL teams that actually own a plane as a team asset, i might be wrong, but most clubs lease a plane, and i'm pretty sure we lease a jet for long haul flights.

just because the team logo is on the tail, doesn't mean they own it, most likely they just agreed to lease it for the season.

We leased this 737-48E from Miami air for awhile, i'm unsure if we still do. tail number N753MA, i want to say we are leasing a different plane now.

Detroit owns their own plane, a large majority of teams charter.
