Both Podkolzin and Raty are milquetoast and uninspiring prospects at this stage. Neither are all that attractive league wide because every team has formerly hyped prospects that are trending towards being busts.
That Podkolzin can't even manage a ppg pace in the AHL as a 22 soon to be 23 year old suggests there's not an impact offensive NHL'er there. Ditto for Raty's although he's a year younger. That's not to say that can't still carve out NHL careers, it's just increasingly unlikely that they'll ever be difference makers.
