After all this time of suffering through hideous and slow games, I can finally say that the team looks entertaining. The young talent looks good. Although its only the first game of the season, I can't tone it down. Not now.

Absolutely loved Bratt, really fun kid to watch, he is going to become a favorite.

Must have gotten a new shot keep in the off season if that's the case.

Mueller and MoJo were the two negatives I can think of. Hopefully both bounce back in Buffalo.

It's one game, sure, but keep Bratt up for the love of all things hockey. He's been so damn good, played in every situation and has continues to impress with every shift. Give him a game off here and there but keep him up for the season. He makes us a better team.

The Avalanche with 41 shots and only 10 scoring chances. Shot total definitely doesn't convey the low amount of quality scoring chances they actually had.

Yes, it's early but I just find this situation hilarious considering the Devils beat the team that Beat the Rags.

This season gonna be FUN. We're finally seeing the attacking supportive approach that Hynes/Shero talked so much about. The rookies are all really dynamic and skilled players. Bratt reminds me of Blandisi with better skating, the hands and creativity gonna be really helpful for this team. Zacha needs to shot more, though. Almost didn't notice him offensively. Hischier like in all preseason games, was really good and should've scored at least one goal.

Butcher is a nice player as well, could become the PP QB this team has needed for some time.
