Can we please stop calling up Sislo? His 1 point in 22 games is worse than Sestito. Sestito also had a point this many games into his NHL career.

The worst is when they're both up and in the lineup at the same time. Tired of seeing Sislo get these scoring opportunities and never cashing in. It's been happening since he first got called up last year. Gionta does the same thing with not burying those goals, but at least he actually scores a few goals per year.

Just because both these guys have multi goal games in the AHL, does not mean they're good enough for the NHL.

Per TG, Elias and Havlat not practicing and "are ill". Team says they don't have the mumps "to their knowledge", but there seems to be a bit of suspicion.

Larsson is rotating on the third pairing and Cammalerri is practicing as well, btw.

Elias and Havlat might have mumps. This season just keeps getting better and better. The Devils are more like a hospital ward than a team.

I hope Larsson rotating on the third pairing doesn't mean he's scratched for Harrold again. I'm glad that Cammalerri is practicing again, provided that he is healthy enough to do so and isn't being rushed back this time. He's too long term an investment to jeopardize his already injury-prone self any further.

Even with the Tostitos call-up, there are only 11 forwards, so "Assistant coach Dave Barr filling in as the third forward on the fourth line."

"Today’s practice is on the game rink and open to select season ticket holders. The fans apparrently have been told again not to cheer again. Assistant coach Mike Foligno tried to get a chant going when the players were still warming up and some of them fans started to join in, but then that faded away pretty quickly."

What's not to love? Given his personality, he'd probably be as loved as nearly any other forward in team history outside of Patty had he stayed here his entire career.

So, it's a possibility.
