he didn't even have THAT bad of a year stats wise. he would've been close to 40 points over a full season. its just that he had injuries and had piss poor shooting luck.

Well he did put up 8 pts in 12 games as a Rag... but his stats when he was in SJ were bordeline Clarkson'esq after his hot start.

I hope we aren't replacing Clarkson's stats where he got like 3 pts in 28 games cause that's a heavy price to pay for that type of production

But in all seriousness, I think Clowe will be effective and a solid signing. Might be a little overpaid but that's life when you shop on july 1st (well, july 5th).

don cherry said he likes the move by the devils to pick up clowe. also mentioned losing clarkson is tough.
