Gold
- Loved Olofsson of course. Would be shocked if he isn't in our top-6 (or at least top-9) opening night
- Ruotsalainen is very intriguing. Smaller guy with a lot of skill. Top-9 upside and a nice get for our shallow forward prospect pool.
- Borgen is a man already. Start in Rochester but hopefully he can be the big defensive presence (next to Dahlin?) on our blue line sooner or later
- Cederqvist was a lot more noticable than I was expecting. Obviously just a camp scrimmage, but he showed a lot of promise. Hoping he can have a great year in Sweden.
Blue
- Got to give it up to the camp invitees DiPietro and Cooley. Both play with great pace and made their case for some kind of contract.
- Davidsson and Thompson were a mixed bag; they were able to find the net some each but there was definitely some questionable plays mixed.
- Was not a big fan of how Johnson started the tournament but got better as it went along. Good way to cap it with a slick shootout goal.
White
- Passolt was another really good invitee IMO. Plays agressive and with speed, maybe there is something there.
- I like the Finnish force on the blueline in Laaksonen and Kuokkanen. Both mobile and willing to jump up in the play.
- Big guys with limited mobility aren't my thing. A few times you see Murray and Samuelsson not being able to match the pace. Still lots of time for Samuelsson especially, but it's something that he will have to continue to work on.
