I could see a platoon situation starting now, and if Jarry continues to outplay Murray and CDS continues to tear up the AHL, I could see GMJR listening to offers for soon-to-be RFA Murray.

What's going to happen is Jarry is going to be traded for the best return they can get and then call up DeSmith.

The only way we even begin to entertain moving Murray is if he continues to struggle throughout the rest of the year and Jarry is absurdly good, AND a team approaches us asking for Murray and offers a stud blueliner (Trouba or Hamilton caliber guy) or a stud winger.

If those things happen, I'd hope we at least seriously think about it. But that's a lot of hypotheticals, and none really realistic.

I would agree, but if Murray asks for more than 6-6.5M I'd be more than happy with Jarry-DeSmith as a duo going forward.

Murray can't be trusted to pour piss out of a boot with instructions written on the heel right now.

Trading him is dumb because you're not going to get anything but laying over and paying 6+M for a couple of great playoff runs, years ago, is the definition of asinine.

He's not going anywhere right now unless it's to IR.

Dude has cost us so many games the past year plus. Getting sick of it.
