A 10-plus year NHL veteran, center Derek MacKenzie has made a living on rebuilding teams. From the Atlanta Thrashers to the Columbus Blue Jackets, he's made his living battling on young rosters on the cusp of the playoffs. Now, after finally making the playoffs with CBJ last season, he's excited to help the next great young team get to where CBJ has.

montoya, mitchell and mackenzie are probably the best, because they aren't supposed to do anything special but they still perform very well

Forgot about Mitchell. He's played a big part in stabilizing the d-core so far.

Thanks! Working on getting my own going, but it will likely be a general podcast (that obviously will have a lot of Panthers stuff). There's a new blog called 'The Sunshine Skate' that just started up a really good Panthers podcast. The audio quality on it is great.
