Depth chart Denmark 2015-2016 - Goalie

We havent had this for a couple of years and I think it could be fun to do it again. Mostly because we are closing up on the olympic qualification in august and it could be interesting to see if we can predict what the team is going to look like.

The way we are doing this is as follows. All that wants to contribute lists the five best in each category: Goalie, RD, LD, RW, C, LW. Your number one pick gets 5 points, number to 4 points etc. The player with most points gets the number one spot. All players that gets points will get into the spreadsheet.

There are no right and wrongs in this. It is who you feel is the best now and will be ind the next six months.

First category will be an easy one for the first two spots, goalies:

Great initiative!

I would go for:

1) Frederik Andersen
2) Sebastian Dahm
3) Patrick Galbraith
4) George Sørensen
5) Simon Nielsen

I basically choose Simon Nielsen as 5th, since he is starting to get some playing time with Herning and has NT experience, whereas Thomas Lillie still is very young and raw compared.
Next year though will be interesting to see how much Lillie progresses.
Feuk and Henriksen are doing really great at the moment, but it is as backup goalies.
So until they are nr. 1 in their Danish clubs, they are outside top 5 considerations.

I was thinking a combo of the two. I know it is hard, but that is what makes it funny and why I picked a guy like Henriksen. He has developed so fast the last few months and will probably be the number one guy in Esbjerg after x-mas if he continues this way. With the current form I am not even sure that Andersen would be number one.

A lot of talent is coming up on that spot at the moment. Do we dare to wish for nothing but danish goalies in a few years in Metalligaen? That would be pretty sweet I think. Especially compared to just five seasons ago when Dahm was the only danish starter.
