Isn't McCabe hurt? I think the kicking of the tires on Kane is pretty much done. We don't have the cap, and we certainly don't need to fork over assets for a locker room problem playing marginal hockey and a pending free agent.

McCabe was out with a finger injury, and while out, had a second surgery, this one on his shoulder.

Out for the season.

I agree, I think we are really going to feel the loss of Cole come playoff time. We need some depth defense like last year with Hainsey and Streit.

Hutton
Davidson

Some of them may be more valuable than others but still lower pairing guys nonetheless.

But he's pretty solid for a bottom pairing. Wouldn't be surprised to see him move and with a cheapish price. Good value IMO
