Loving the Richardson pic! Guessing the Nucks take this one 3-1.

The Coyotes come into Monday's tilt with just one win in their last seven outings (1-5-1) with that lone victory coming in overtime against the hapless Oilers six days ago. They were on the wrong end of a 4-2 decision on Saturday in Los Angeles in the start of their three-game road trip which wraps up tomorrow night in Edmonton. The Coyotes are one of the lowest scoring teams in the league but it's their defence and goaltending that has come under fire. Head coach Dave Tippett was recently quoted as saying that his number one netminder, Mike Smith, "hasn't been able to get it done." Smith, as a matter of fact, has been a spectator for the Coyotes for their last three in a row as Tippett has opted to run with backup Devan Dubnyk. Considering it was Dubnyk who pitched a 35-save shutout against the Canucks last month, don't be surprised if he gets his fourth straight start tonight. Ryan Miller is expected to get the call for the Canucks between the pipes.

Smith struggling. Coyotes struggling. Looks like we're getting shut out by them again. Sorry guys. It's our destiny.

heck
1. Score more goals than the other team.
2. Don't get injured by Hanzal.
3. Harshly judge every goal Miller lets in.

Hopefully the team watched video of the last game vs Arizona and has it fresh in their minds. That kind of crappy effort should be motivation enough.

4. Bash Bieksa every time he touches the puck.
5. Call the Kesler trade a loss every time Sbisa touches the puck.
6. Call the rookie Vey a bust for not playing like a veteran.
7. Be sad about winning because it was against a non-contending team.

PS - Loved #3.

If they score first we lose, this team is way too fragile right now to play catchup.

8. Bring up Garrison every time a defenseman makes a mistake.
9. Bring up Santorelli every time a centerman touches the ice.
10. Take a drink every time the team gets a PP. You'll need it.

11. Say we should have loaned Horvat to WJC every time he takes a shift.
12. Complain about all of this before the game even starts.
