Deal.

Leafs sign Hartikainen and run a Komarov-Kontiola-Hartikainen line that would be totally epic and awesome that no one would be able to handle it!

What are we talking about again?

 deal (You don't need to sign BB every post too :) )

regardless what happens - if the Leafs make the playoffs or if they draft top ten: the majority of this board will be miserable.

No deal, Bernier will either get injured or Reimer will play too well for him to receive those many starts.

Kadri improve FO%, wins around 48-50%

No deal.

Komarov's face will be painted on the mezzanine at the Bell Centre.

Deal.

Sam Kadri is told by Shanahan that if he doesn't put on a Leafs jersey, he's not invited on the father-son road trip.

Leafs have a great 2014/2015 season. Kessel scores 40 goals, finally, and continues to play at a point-a-game pace. Carlyle completely changes the Leafs system, and our possession numbers go up across the board. Polak and Robidas add much needed grit and accountability on the back end. Phaneuf plays a very decent year - not $7-million per year decent, but he plays rock solid on the back end. Our PK improves exponentially. Komarov becomes one of the most hated pests in the league. Bernier takes the next step to becoming a bonafide elite goaltender.

The Leafs squeak into the playoffs in the 7th seed and face the Montreal Canadiens. Toronto wins the series against Montreal 4-2 - Kessel had a game winner in each game, including the triple-overtime game winner in Montreal in game one.

In the second round, the Leafs go down 3-1 to the Boston Bruins. Leafs win game five in vintage Carlyle fashion - 2-1, outshot 40-20, hemmed in our own zone for the last two minutes. Leafs win game six in Toronto in vintage Carlyle fashion - 2-1, outshot 40-20, hemmed in our own zone for the last two minutes. Leafs go up 4-1 with 10 minutes left in game 7 and then they put their foot on Boston's throats and never let go. The Leafs possession looks insane. Every time Boston gets the puck, our boys Komarov, Robidas, Polak, Phaneuf lay the body HARD. Boston can barely keep a cycle going. They manage 3 shots in the last 10 minutes of the game. Toronto consistently breaks up any Boston play and then either dump the puck at centre ice or play a cycle keep-away in Boston's zone. Toronto wins 4-1 in game 7 and as the final seconds tick down, Bremner circle has a riot to rival Argentina's reaction to getting Concentration-Camp'd by Germany at the World Camp.

In the conference finals, Toronto sweeps Pittsburgh. What a surprise, Pittsburgh coasts into the conference finals AGAIN on the back of their elite offense, but Fleury and their porous defense wet the bed again. Kessel absolutely lights up the Penguins, and Komarov makes Crosby cry on numerous occasions. On the handshake line, Crosby refuses to shake Komarov's hand.

In the Stanley Cup finals, Toronto faces the St. Louis blues. Gunnarsson of course scores the overtime winner in game one. Steen scores an overtime winner in game two. Kessel scores an overtime winner in game three. Polak gets the hit of the series in game 4, catching Pietrangelo with his head down at centre ice, shifting the momentum of the series tremendously - the Leafs win game 4 handily, 6-2, with Kadri scoring a hat trick. The Leafs then win game 5 again, handily, winning 4-0, with Bernier posting a stellar 42-save shutout. Leafs go back home with a chance to clinch the Cup in game six in Toronto. Mayor Rob Ford secretly calls in the Canadian Army to wait on standby at multiple hotels surrounding the Air Canada Centre, in case of a riot. The game goes to triple overtime, and Kessel is on a breakaway. Kessel fakes a wrist shot, then goes to his backhand and ROOF DADDIES IT. Kessel wins the Conn Smythe. Phaneuf lifts the Cup first, then passes it to Robidas, then passes it to Kessel. Brian Burke is seen in his platinum seats, smiling triumphantly. No riot occurs, just celebrations going into the wee morning.

Leafs make it to the Stanley Cup Finals and somehow find a way to blow a sure thing. We all then finally give up being Leaf fans and move on with our lives.

That was me after Game 7 in the 1st round.

Don't know how I would react if we were 90 seconds away from the cup and managed to blow it

No Deal. What's positivity? :naughty:

Leafs win 100% of the games I make the GDTs for. (Instead of going 0-8-2)
