There's no guarantee that Daugavins will be reassigned to the AHL. So unless he's claimed off waivers, he may still be available to play which means no call-up is necessary.

He was playing very well before the injury. Then when he came back he looked ok against Tampa and then looked bad against New Jersey. That injury looked to set back a lot of progress he made. He could use some more seasoning in the AHL, but he is well on his way to becoming an NHL player. Depending on how he plays in Bingo, he could be back up over the next few weeks.

Dziurzynski is pretty close to becoming a full time NHLer. Before his concussion, he was playing 15 minutes a game and looked fine out there.

doubt he'll be back this year, unless we get a bunch of injuries to the bottom six. he's looked ok at best.
