He looked pretty good in some games as a 4th liner but last night he played so bad he was benched. Doesn't mean it's over there is always later this year and next year too now that he got a taste of the NHL he knows what to work on. It could be because a trade, a college signing who wants to play this year or just that they just want to give another AHL guy a chance.

btw) I didn't count the roster spots so don't know if they are full up with Andy.

something is going on.. trade or spezza return (still way too early for milan). If daugy gets claimed we're down to 12 forwards right now, and we've been carrying 13 or 14 all season.

Not necessarily. We don't play for the next 2 days...although if it was a call-up it would make sense to do it earlier since it would probably be Hoffman and it would be nice for him to get some practice time in with the guys.

Yes but the team has carried more than 12 forwards on the roster all year. Unless they completely changed their mind in the last day (unlikely), a forward is going to be added to the roster soon, be it from trade or recall.
