The New York Daily News, citing Cassidy's rep, reported that the singer's liver and kidney were failing and he needed a transplant.

Like Malcolm Young Cassidy was diagnosed with dementia a few years ago and has been battling a personal battle with the bottle over the past few years

he did pop bubble gum and it wasnt until the 80's he grew to resent how he was just viewed a tv crearted POP star a creation of TV and really resented the fact that people ignore what he had done after the tv show ended

Had a rough few years. Bubble gum music. He could actually sing. But got painted into a corner

I grew my hair long in like 1st or 2nd grade because I was a big Keith Partridge fan. Wore it long into my 30s because, well, it was how I wore my hair.

I know he's had a rough go, but the nostalgia for me is huge with this one. RIP.
