I have always harbored the sneaking suspicion that Bertuzzi COULD have played (guys play through injuries all the time), but opted to take the opportunity to rest and heal on the Panthers dime.

Smart move for him, but not so great for Panthers.

fwiw, i know a guy who was friends with the trainer at that time and he said that's how everyone felt.

What's the point of this?

The point is, I'm excited the team spent some money and got a player I believe can help the franchise. And I watched a cool YouTube highlight of him I wanted to share.
