Basis of this inquiry is using the precedent of Michael Bergeron being traded from the Quebec Nordiques to the New York Rangers for a 1st & $75k. This happened back in 1987.
So, with that in mind, are there any fanbases that might be interested in trading for DH? Any and all offers will be considered. Hakstol is under contract for the next two seasons, I'm unsure about the dollar value, safe to say less than Babcock. If money is an issue, the Flyers will be able to retain some of the salary.
Hakstol has made the playoffs two out of his three years, and had previously piloted a UND collegiate hockey team to consistent contender status.
Why are the Flyers interested in trading Hakstol? Don't you f***ing worry about it.
