Can anybody (probably pnep...) provide top 25 lists in the following categories?

1) Most PP goals, minus SH goals, in a single season
2) Most PP goals, minus SH goals, in a career
3) Most SH goals, minus PP goals, in a single season
4) Most SH goals, minus PP goals, in a career

Obviously these are pretty obscure stats but they can highlight one-dimensional scorers (ie Robitaille has 247 PPG vs 3 SHG) as well as defensive forwards with some skill but few scoring opportunities (ie Carbonneau has 32 SHG vs 12 PPG). Thanks!

Great work Pnep! Thank you.

Single-season PP scoring
The list is an interesting mix, generally consisting of one-dimensional scorers who had no interest in playing defense and big, slow power forwards. Bossy, Hull and Kerr each have three appearances on the list. Not surprisingly, none of the players on this list (aside from Nieuwendyk) were better than average defensively. The majority of the seasons on this list were from 1978-1993. This makes the appearances from Selanne ('99) and Bertuzzi ('03) even more surprising, as they occured during the Third Dead Puck Era.

Career PP scoring
Ciccarelli's 232-1 record is stunning -- does anybody remember that one SHG he scored? This list is also generally consists of one-dimensional scorers and slow power forwards who capitalize on PP opportunities. It's nice to see Bourque & MacInnis on this list -- they had perhaps the most accurate and most powerful shot in NHL history, respectively. I was surprised to see a few good two-way players on this list (Sakic & Franics stand out). Sakic was deadly on the PP and this sometimes causes us to overlook his defensive skill; Francis might not have scored a lot of SHG but I'd bet he has a lot of SHA.

Single season PK scoring
Incredibly, one entire forward line (Marcotte, Sanderson, Westfall on the 1971 Boston Bruins) scored 19 SH goals (versus 1 PP goal) in a single season as they were stuck behind an incredible group of offensive forwards. Sanderson and Reid are the only players to appear here more than once. Unless Carbonneau gets inducted, it appears there are no HOFers here.

Career PK scoring
An interesting mix of players that range from very obscure (I had only been vaguely aware of Lorne Henning) to Selke winners on dynasty teams.

While looking for Joe Sakic's data (I suspected he scored many of those SHG while playing for the Nordiques, because they had terrible depth for a while and I thought Sakic was caught playing lots of PK shifts because of it, only to find out I was terribly wrong), I found a quirk about Mario Lemieux. Lemieux was the SHG leader three seasons (87-88,88-89 and 95-96), which also happens to be the three seasons in which he led the league in goals scored. For the record, he would still have won the goal-scoring title those years if we substract his SHG totals, except in 95-96, where he and Jagr would have been tied if the SHG were substracted (Lemieux had 69 goals, 8SHG. Jagr had 62 goals, 1 SGH).

I wonder if Jagr would have asked Eddie Johnston to kill more penalties if he knew...

Ciccarelli's lone career shorthanded goal was during the 1987-88 season, his last full season in Minnesota. It appears he was used at least occasionally as a penalty killer that season since 21 of the 27 career PPG's against scored for him were that season. I'm still trying to track down exactly which game it occured in (I know that it didn't happen in a game against the Flyers) so if I do I'll let you know.
