Absolutely not. There is no way we're trading Brodie unelss we get a top 6 RHS forward back that can gel well on the top line
That would be Nylander in my proposal. I was trying to create a Buffalo version of the OP proposal.
With Reinhart in the mix this would turn into a whole different beast.

The Pens would regret this trade later. One or the other boys, not both. Brodie has been not good for 2 years. Absolutely awful this year.

So, you're saying Brodie will fit right in with the other underachieving Pens defensemen? :jk:

(note: I'm a Pens fan making that joke)

Pens have Letang and Schultz on the right side so don't want another top 4 guy who is best on the right side.
The "better on the right side" thing is nothing more than a myth, Brodie played the best hockey of his career when he was on the left side when Gio went down with an injury a couple years ago. The problem is Gulutzan's system has neutered Brodie's best asset, which is the deep breakout pass.
