Good. This is what Daniel needed as you can just tell being out of the ring is killing him inside. Hopefully this new perspective sets his mind at ease.

Until the kid is old enough to wrestle and wants to follow his or her fathers footsteps and then DB gets emotional and hates WWE for not letting him wrestle causing him to down spiral into depression...

_____ "Jeremy Palazzo" redirects here. For the English cricketer, see Jeremy Palazzo (cricketer).
_____ "Legendary AC"" redirects here.

Jeremiah Palazzo (Born September 9) best known as his ring name “AC", "Legendary AC" or "Phobia Catalyst" is a Canadian professional wrestler currently signed by the HFWF. He has won several championships around the world There is speculation as to what the AC stands for from Alternating Current from being the known as AC while apart of the Shock Masters tag team. Astraphobia Catalyst is another well known possibility as people should fear his Flash Kick. In Early 2019 He dropped the AC name to become Phobia Catalyst.

Beginnings (AAPWF/WCWF) [edit]
__________________________________________________________
While in high school near Calgary Alberta he and his friends, who all expressed an interest in wrestling, would get together for every WWF PPV at one of the friends house and show up early and wrestle on the hosts trampoline. After some time Palazzo and the host decided to give all the other guys a proposition to buy their own wrestling ring, one they has seen advertised in a wrestling magazine. After a few months more of pretending to be their favourite WWF wrestler they decided it was time to make their own characters and have their own matches. Thus the Alberta Amateur Professional Wrestling Association (AAPWA) was born. (They called themselves amateurs since it was just for fun and they were not getting paid at the time. However to avoid confusion they added the professional so that anyone who asked knew they were more WWF and not Olympic type wrestling). Jeremy chose the name “The Xeno”, a name he would use later on in his career as well. The 8 friends held a tournament to decide the first ever AAPWA champion and at the end of the night The Xeno stood tall.

As "The Xeno" Palazzo would hold the title for 9 months beating all original 7 other guys and a few new guys as well before defending his title in a 4 man elimination match. The other 3 guys focused on The Xeno early on and as one applied a triangle hold, another applied a cross arm bar while the third applied a figure 4 leg lock. The Xeno was eliminated shortly after. The Xeno would get a 1 on 1 rematch with the new champion but would lose the match under controversial circumstances including a fast count.
94TSyDo.jpg
Palazzo would then feud with other guys for over a full year before he would earn another shot at the title and when he did made no mistake in recapturing the title. Palazzo would then hold the title for an unprecedented 16 months before losing the title in a TLC match where, in storyline, he had his leg broken by a chair shot while climbing the ladder.Palazzo went on IR for several months reappearing to the surprise of everyone when he helped the man who had broken his leg retain the belt. This however was just a ruse as he would later help another competitor win the belt as he went on to win the tag title. With his tag partner as well as the new heavyweight champion they would form a stable that would keep them all with their respective belts for over half a year before the union would dissolve.
By the time Palazzo and his friends graduated from high school some 4 years after the original tournament, the AAPWA had become the show to see and weekly shows were now done and despite now making a tidy profit from the shows had kept the AAPWA name. over these years the AAPWA roster had grown as well as new wrestlers joined. Many stayed on after graduation and would continue to do weekend shows. It was at this point the AAPWA started to tour outside of Calgary. Canmore, Banff, Cochrane, Strathmore and many other towns out lining Calgary would become staples of shows but all major “PPVs” or monthly big shows where feuds that had been built up would have a pay off match, were all held in Calgary. This all changed during the following year, or the 5th year of AAPWA, as they merged with another up and coming Wrestling Organisation from British Columbia called the British Columbia Wrestling Federation (BCWF). This new organisation would be called the Western Canada Wrestling Federation (WCWF).

All major titles from both organisations were merged and unified and Palazzo using “The Xeno” persona was in the main event for the soon to be unified Heavyweight Championship. Palazzo would lose the match under iron man rules. However over the next 2 years Palazzo would have success winning many of the titles the WCWF had to offer including the Heavyweight Title a total of 3 times. “PPVs” were now held in rotation between Calgary, Edmonton and Victoria, and Vancouver. During this time Palazzo would have several feuds that cumulated with memorable matches including A Falls Count Anywhere Match vs The Rock Show at WCWF Forsaken. An Iron Man Match vs The Evolver at WCWF Ground Zero. A Last Man Standing Match Against Sandman IV at WCWF Art of War. A TLC Match Against Jukes at WCWF Day of Destiny and A 3 Stages Of Hell Match vs Bruticus at WCWF Champion's Road.

However it would be during Palazzo’s 3rd title reign that the bitter truth really hit the WCWF. Many of the top wrestlers were starting to have lives outside the WCWF and left the organisation. This in turn caused the attendance to fall as well and the decision was made to dissolve the WCWF. One final “PPV” was held in Calgary where it had all begun for Palazzo and in a thrilling match, Palazzo who had been champion at the time retained the title making him the final WCWF champion. In an interview around 2013 Palazzo revealed he still had the HCWF title in his possession.
Breakout In Stampede Wrestling [edit]
EDE4ekc.jpg

AC in Stampede Wrestling
After a hiatus Palazzo took some time to go to college but did not complete his schooling before he went looking for other organizations to be apart of. Palazzo then joined the newly revived Stampede Wrestling as part of a masked tag team called The Shock Masters. This was based in one if the most famous failed gimmicks in wrestling history. Palazzo was called AC and his tag partner DC and used "Thunder Struck" as their entrance music. Both wore storm trooper masks to the ring but removed them and still had on luchador style masks underneath. Despite being a comedy gimmick, the tag team was a hit and won the Stampede Wrestling International Tag Team Championship early 2001.

During their reign dissention started because it was not hard to see that Palazzo was the more talented performer and the fans would chant for AC but not DC. The team soon broke up and started to feud. The former tag partners had a mask vs mask match and in a surprising upset AC lost. Instead of getting a new persona AC kept the name and the finisher he had established the ”Flash Kick” and started to make a name for himself including several matches with Tiger Mahatma Khan challenging for but never winning the Stampede British Commonwealth Mid-Heavyweight Championship. In late 2001 Palazzo was contacted by Ric Flair to come and be apart of tournament in North Carolina. Palazzo would lose in the semi finals and despite putting on some good matches it is said he impressed everyone except Flair.
New Japan Pro Wrestling [edit]
Shortly after returning to Stampede Wrestling AC was asked if he would like to go over to Japan for a cross promotion deal. After completing the tour Palazzo was approached by some members of the Ichari Dojo and ask if he would like to stay and train with them. Palazzo agreed and was soon under the tutelage of the great Gendo Ichari. Palazzo would continue to use the AC name and join NJPW. While in NJPW Palazzo would reveive his Xenocharater and start wearing a mask again to hide his identity. While the AC charater was a honorable baby face the Xeno charater was a Heel. Palazzo was able to keep both charaters separated as he used different moves for each persona. AC would continue to use the Flash Kick as a finisher where as the Xeno would use the Zero Wing finisher. Most within the organization did not even know Palazzo was the Xeno. Palazzo as AC would win IWGP Heavyweight Championship in January 2002 and the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship as the Xeno in September 2003. It was never revealed that AC was the Xeno until several years later when AC would use the Xeno persona again while in NEPWF around 2010. In January of 2003 AC would briefly leave NJPW for a tryout with WWE. In an interview in 2014 AC said he was told he impressed everyone that needed to be impressed. However Ric Flair was in WWE at the time and AC believes that is why he was turned down. AC then returned to NJPW.

Toryumon (Mexico) and First Time in Ring Of Honor [edit]
It was during his Junior Heavyweight Championship run as the Xeno that Palazzo would meet Ultimo Dragon during this time and Dragon would convince AC to come to his Toryumon promotion in Mexico. AC would win the British Commonwealth Junior Heavyweight Championship in December of 2003. Palazzo would then go to Ring of Honor and in a complete surprise win the ROH Pure Championship in April of 2004. AC would lose the PURE title in mid July of 2004 before returing to Toryumon to win UWA World Trios Championship with Arrow Kid and Saito Ryu in June 2004 and then the Último Dragón Gym Championship in July 2004.
All Star Wrestling (UK) [edit]
65SLYcO.jpg

AC With the British Heavyweight Championship.
Around September of 2004 Palazzo would return home to Calgary. It was during this time Palazzo would meet the woman who would later become his wife. AC would then accept an offer to go to All Star Wrestling in the UK where he would win European Heavyweight Championship. It was during this time in All Star Wrestling that AC started Calling himself Astraphophia Catalyst, because opponents should fear him the Flash Kick, as well as using the “man of 1004 finishers” gimmick. It was called such as homage to Chris Jericho and his man of 1004 holds promo he had done. AC would use his opponent’s finisher against them as well as other well known WWF and WCW finishers as well. After some time had gone by AC announced he had used 1001 finishers and only had 3 left to perform. However he would only use these three if he could find a worthy opponent, as they were the Legendary Trinity of finishers. The three moves were The Burning Hammer, or Legendary Avalanche Clash. The Imploding 450° splash, or Legendary Astral Cyclone and the Full Nelson Camel Clutch or Legendary Alpha Clutch. This would be the origins of the Legendary chants as the fans would chant “Legendary” during the match in order to persuade AC to use one of the three moves. This in turn made the chants evolve enough that the fans would even chant it whenever AC was even just in the ring cutting a promo.

He was still using the man of 1004 finishers/Legendary finishers gimmick when he won the British Heavyweight Championship in May of 2006. Later that year AC had a match with Stan “the Deranged Dentist” Yakpic and Frank “Space Cowboy” Conway in a triple threat match where the only way to win is to register a pin on both of your opponents. AC won the match and was not pinned at all. This was mainly due to the fact both his opponents had already pinned each other so they kept stopping each other from getting the pin on AC but the fact remained AC won and had not been pinned. The next show AC came out and said that it was true after all, he really was a Legend and for the first time referred to himself as “Legendary AC”. AC would vacate the title during the first week of Dec.
Extreme Wrestling Federation [edit]
AC would make his EWF debut on Sunday, December 10, 2006 at Extreme Wrestling Federations Death Day. AC faced off against Lan the Man. This is significant because HFWF founder SheamusFan was a spectator that day and was inspired to become a wrestler himself. AC Would later win the EWF championship and have a memorable feud with with Zodiac that peaked in a five star ladder match at Wrestle Mayhem with AC picking up the victory before one final "loser leaves EWF" match that AC would lose.
Return to ROH [edit]
ACs contract with EWF ended in May of 2007 and in June 2007 AC was married. Looking to get some stability AC once again joined up with Ring of Honor in October of 2007. He made his return to ROH in spectacular fashion subbing in for new ROH champion Nigel McGuinness to take on former champion Takeshi Morishima. AC appeared as a masked wrestler McGuinness found to take his place as he had not been cleared to wrestle for that night. McGuinness introduced AC as a “former multiple WWE and WCW world champion “Vacated”. This was obviously a joke as anytime a title is relinquished for any reason it is shown in the record books as “Vacated” Once in the ring Morishima hit his finisher, the Amaze Impact, on "Vacated" but AC kicked out much to the surprise of everyone as it was expected to be a squash match. Morishima set "Vacated" up for a second Amaze Impact but It was reversed into an Avalanche Clash. AC followed it up with the Astral Cyclone before removing his mask to reveal his true identity. AC would then hit Morishima with a Full Nelson face buster which AC used as a set up to the Alpha Clutch as he did not relinquish the full Nelson before applying the camel clutch. This would mark the first and so far only time AC has used all three Legendary Finishers in one match. After defeating Morishima AC got a microphone and said, "For those of you who don't know me and for those of you who may have forgotten, my name is AC and everything I do in this ring is Legendary". This is where the "Legendary" chants really took off.

However because of this short lived "Vacated" gimmick, it has now become a trend to change all of ACs title reigns in NJPW, ROH, and other promotions on Wikipedia to read "Vacated" as a joke in reference to this character. In May of 2008 AC would win the ROH tag titles with Bryan Danielson . However AC and Bryan would lose the titles only a month later. Also during this time AC would challenge McGuinness for the ROH Championship but would be unsuccessful.

Return to Japan [edit]
AC contract ended with Ring of Honor in January of 2009 so AC returned to Japan for the first time in five years to be in a super tournament hosted by JMPWF (Japan Mega Power Wrestling Federation) where several big name independent wrestlers were invited to participate. In the finals taking place in March of 2009 AC took on Hiro Akiro and lost. Hiro claimed after the match that he was now the world champion since he had beat wrestlers from all over the world. AC retorted that since Hiro had never wrestled outside Japan he could not call himself that. AC pointed out that he had won titles in Japan, Mexico, the United Kingdom, the US and Canada, thus making him the true world champion. This feud would last almost 6 months and also had AC Win A Strap Match Against Yoko-Son, and Win A Retirement Match Against The Legendary Sucio Sombra Oscura before having one final match with Hiro Akiro where AC claimed victory. Immediately after this AC signed with NJPW again and started a feud with the current IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi in August of 2009. AC would continue his claims that he was the “True World Champion” and would lead to AC winning his second IWGP Heavyweight Championship before returning to North America at the end of the year.
NEPWF [edit]
wyMKLCX.jpg

AC in NEPWF
For most of 2010-11 AC was a staple for NEPWF (New Extreme Professional Wrestling Federation) winning and holding their heavyweight title for just over a year. About 6 months into his title run the Masked Xeno Character also made a return. AC was once again able to successfully perform as both characters as he used two almost completely different move sets (and once again used the Zero Wing as a finisher for the Xeno persona), as well as the use of a body double would occasionally play the masked Xeno persona helping keep the illusion. As the masked Xeno AC would win the "C" Division championship which is similar to TNA X division title. AC held both titles simultaneously. However Kidd Khaos was suspicious of the Xeno and set out to prove his identity. Khaos showed the footage of AC as Xeno in Japan from 2002 as evidence. But AC would use body doubles to prove his innocence. Eventually Khaos was able to reveal that Xeno and AC were the same person and AC was forced to forfeit the "C" division title as punishment. During his time in NEPWF as AC he would feud with Napalm Bison and Cowboy Barbarian. As The Xeno he would feud with Kidd Khaos.
Return to Mexico [edit]
Around Sept of 2011 AC returned to Mexico for a three month stay with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre where he would win the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship in Dec before losing it New Year's Day 2012.
NAAPWA [edit]
After that stint was complete AC would join NAAPWA (North American All-star Pro Wrestling Alliance) he would only be there around 9 months but held the Heavyweight title for almost his entire time there. He became #1 contender by winning a Beat The Clock Sprint Match Against Lexecutioner at NAAPWA Gambit. AC would then win the NAAPWA Heavyweight Title in A Submission Match Against Dr. Payne at OverHaul 2012. After successfully winning the title AC would start a string of title defenses starting with a Boiler Room Brawl Against Bart The Butcher at NAAPWA Night of Reckoning. The following month AC would again win beating The Ring King in a Hardcore Match at Collision Course. AC would follow that us with wins against Big Devil, (Inferno Match, NAAPWA Temptation) and Boris Bhumyurded, (Hell In A Cell, NAAPWA Nothing to Lose). AC would drop the title to “King” of the faction “The Court” and would be the surprise winner in a "You're Fired" Match Against “The Courts” “Rook” at NAAPWA Survivor Royal II. However AC would leave soon after.
HFWF [edit]
It was then announced he would join the HFWF. AC made his HFWF debut at the inaugural show Night to Remember on Oct 21, 2012, AC was set to face OmniSlash but the match did not take place as Omni left and was counted out. Later that night AC and Omni would join with MCG TopShelf and StraightEdge to form the Revolution. AC and Omni would then win a number one contenders match for the HFWF tag titles against MoFro on November 11 Sunday Night Slaughter. AC and Omni would win the Tag Titles at Redemption against iMarf. AC and Omni would continue to feud with iMarf and in a rematch at StarStruck AC and Omni would defend the belts in a Ladder match that is a consensus top five match in HFWF history. Heading into AfterShock AC and Omni would begin a feud with new comers International Airstrike consisting of Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel. AC and Omni would defeat them at AfterShock to retain the titles once again. New challengers would appear soon after in the form of the Worlds Greatest Tag Team, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas. At Caged In AC and Omni would lose the titles to WGTT. The Following night on Monday Night Slaughter AC and Omni would get a rematch and Regain the belts only to be attacked after wards by the debuting Shield. A match would be made and AC and Omni would lose the Tag Titles to Shield members Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. Two weeks later On Monday Night Slaughter AC would face then HFWF Heavyweight Champion Crimson Skorpion in a Non Title match in ACs hometown of Calgary Alberta. A five star battle would ensue with Crimson pulling out the win. This would be the final HFWF show before the company ceased operation unexpectedly.

ROH Champion [edit]

AC Wins ROH Championship
After the HFWF went on hiatus around April 2013 AC returned to Calgary to become an assistant trainer at Lance Storms Wrestling Academy. However he would only be there around a month before he once again return to ROH where he would win the World title July 3, 2013. He would hold it until September. AC would continie to Battle with new champion Adam Cole and Michael Elgin for the title but was unsuccessful. AC would return to Lance Storms academy in January of 2014.
Return to HFWF [edit]
AC then returned to the HFWF however he soon struggled to win matches. After only winning 3 matches (one by DQ and one assisted heavily by OmniSlash) CEO MCG told AC he would be fired if he failed to defeat him at Night to Remember. MCG who was US champion at the time put the title on the line vs ACs career. AC was able to win the match and the US title. Since then MCG had continued to target AC in an attempt to purge AC from the HFWF. With help from Tyler Wylde and ACs former tag partner OmniSlash MCGhas so far failed in his attempt. AC then found help in Chris Jericho and CM Punk to form the Resistance to help combat MCG and his Corporate Revolution. At Sunday Sin PPV October 19, 2014, AC was in a match to unify his US title with NYGRYKs European title. OmniSlash was also in the match but NYGRYK won by pinning AC after successfully performing the American Destroyer. AC would continue to feud with the Revlution in a 6 man tag match at Across the Pond. where the restiance would be victorious. At the next months PPV Silent Night AC would go one on One with MCG in a Hell in a Cell Match and would once again be the victor. He would enter the Rumble Bash in hopes of winning the vacated HFWF championshp. He would make it to the final two but would lose as Kurt Angle eliminated him to win the title. AC would then be in a number ones contenders match for the Intercontinental title withh Omni and Tyler Wylde and be successful in getting the championship oppertuinty but would again come up short losing t CM Punk at the HFWF PPV Revelation. This would lead to AC and Punk teaming up to face Omni and Tyler Wylde. AC and Punk would continue to team up and get a shot at the HFWF Tag titles but before they could get this oppertunity HFWF folded for a second time.

Return to Wrestling Coach. [edit]
After the HFWF went on hiatus again AC returned to Calgary to return as an assistant trainer at Lance Storms Wrestling Academy. He would stay there until Jan 2019 When he would once again return to HFWF
Return to HFWF again [edit]
Upon his return to HFWF he would reunite with Omni but only a short time. AC Would start to show signs of a change in character being far more aggressive and cerebral than ever before. After a Lengthy build up AC would debut a new Gimmick and look including face paint, Becoming Phobia Catalyst. He is would start to show signs of a more aggressive behavior including biting the ear of Omni and other opponents. This would lead to a match at Night to Remember 2019 and continue to where as the Phobia Catalyst he would brutalise Omni to the point Omni would be written of shows for several months. Following this Phobia Catalyst would earn a spot in a ladder match at Payback for the first winner of the All Class Title. AC would not win as PeterSidorikez would win. Soon after Omni Would return and renew the feud with a Last Man Standing match that Omni would win and in doing so break AC out of the Phobia Catalyst persona. Now free of the darkness AC would focus on winning the Kings of Wrestling tournament with a guaranteed championship match on the line. AC would make the finals but an attack by a mystery assailant would cause him to fail at winning and Gongshow would be the victor. The assailant would be revealed to be MCG as he did not want AC as champion. AC and MCG would renew their old feud and in a match at Limitless with ColePens and Mitchy for the championship AC would again lose due in part to the returning El Dandy. AC Would convince MCG to put the title on the line at Night to Remember and would finally win the championship that had eluded him for eight years. He would lose the championship the following week when after MCG and he buried the hatched he would be attacked by members of the Machine faction including El Dandy, Scandale du Jour and UnrealMachine allowing Gongshow to cash in his Kings of Wrestling contract. Ac would not get a rematch right away as he would be an entrant in the second Kings of Wrestling tournament which had a G1 format. AC would earn enough points to make the semifinals but would lose out to UnrealMachine. Throughout the tournament he and El Dandy would feud as well attacking each other and causing distraction to cause the other to lose. At Kings of Wrestling they would have a cage match which AC would be victorious in. AC is now looking to focus on the Heavyweight title again.
