Yeah yesterday morning there were unsubstantiated rumblings that things were starting to turn for the better but that there wouldn’t be an update from the hospital that day. Today the update had many positive things. Great news all around.

Not to make too light of a situation but I find it pretty hilarious man nearly died and his first thought is "yeah but did we win tho?"

He has that DAWG in him. Really glad to hear he's on the mend.

Everything is trending towards best case scenario. This is such a wonderful development…and not just for Hamlin. The country watched not knowing if they were seeing a man die on the field and the event is now shifting instead to everyone witnessing a man’s life being saved. We saw something horrible…and beautiful…and the beautiful is winning out.
