Comment Print RALEIGH, NC – Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has recalled forward Tim Wallace from the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL). Rutherford also announced that forward Zac Dalpe has been reassigned to Charlotte.
Wallace, 28, has notched nine goals and earned 11 assists (20 points) in 43 games this season with Charlotte. The Anchorage, AK, native has scored three goals and earned eight assists (11 points) in 73 career NHL regular-season games with Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay and the New York Islanders. Wallace (6’1â€, 207 lbs.) is in his seventh professional season and his first season with Carolina after signing with the Hurricanes as a free agent on July 19, 2012.
